Many people (including me) use WordPress as a CMS (content management system) rather than a blogging platform per se. Below you'll find features related to using WordPress as a CMS.

Turning post/page dates on/off

By default WordPress themes date posts and pages, I've turned this OFF on this theme. To turn it ON log into your sites Dashboard after installing Talian 05 and click

Appearance >> Talian AdSense and Clickbank + SEO

On the admin menu under the section "General Talian Options" >> "Dates On/Off" and select on. 

Note: I've not disabled the dates of comments

Monthly Archives

Since WordPress was originally designed as a blogging platform by default there's a monthly archive in most themes. I've removed the archives from the default sidebars so there are no links to the monthly archive pages (they still exist, just no links to them). To add the monthly archive links back to the sidebar use the sidebar widgets which you'll find on the Dashboard menu under Appearance > Widgets

The Archives widget is called "9GAT Archives". Drag it to one of the two sidebars.

I've also trimmed down the default (non-widget) forms of the sidebars, not added Pages or Tags for example.

Note: Once you add a single widget to a sidebar that's the ONLY sidebar item you'll see on your site, by using widgets you have to completely build the menu(s) from scratch. I've numbered the GAT widgets (ones specifically for this theme) 1 to 9 with 1 being the first one I'd add and 9 last or not at all (depends on the site, I never add the 9GAT Archives menu for example).
