WordPress Theme Talian with Targeted AdSense Ads, Clickbank ads included and SEO Improvements

In Talian version 04+ I've changed the static banner image to a randomly selected banner image.

In Talian 05 there are currently multiple sets of 10 banner images, you'll find them under

/talian-adsense-clickbank-seo-05/banners/

The format is

landscape-*.jpg

Where * is a number 1 to 10.

Selecting a Banner Set
----------------------
It's easy to select a pre made set of banners. Log into your sites Dashboard after installing Talian 05 and click

Appearance >> Talian AdSense and Clickbank + SEO

On the admin menu under the section "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set" and select one of the banner sets.

** Note you have to build a custom set of images as currently there are no images in that set.

Making your own Custom banner images
------------------------------------
To make your own banner images make sure the images are jpg format with a 560px width and ideally 120px height (you could make them a different height, the width is the most important factor, it has to be 560px or very, very close to it.

Save the new banners with the format

landscape-2.jpg
landscape-3.jpg
etc...
landscape-10.jpg

And place them in the folder

/talian-adsense-clickbank-seo-05/banners/custom/

If you created 5 banners that you saved in the /custom/ folder change the setting "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set Size" to 5. If you created 15 banners change the setting to 15. Note if you go back to one of the other sets make sure you change this setting back to 10.

How to increase/decrease the number of banners used

If you only want to use the first 3 images from the original set under "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set Size" set to 3 and under "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set" set to Original.

If you wanted to use images 1, 4, 5 and 7 the easiest way to achieve this is rename those four files to:

landscape-1.jpg
landscape-2.jpg
landscape-3.jpg
landscape-4.jpg

Put them in the /custom/ folder and change the setting "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set Size" to 5 and "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set" set to Custom.

Doesn't matter which is number 1, 2 etc...

To add more than 10 images create as many banner images as you like in a sequence, so if you wanted 20 images:

landscape-1.jpg
landscape-2.jpg
landscape-3.jpg
etc...
landscape-20.jpg

And change "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set Size" to 20.

If you only want the one image to show on all pages, create an image

landscape-1.jpg

Add it to the /custom/ folder and change the setting "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set Size" to 1 and "General Talian Options" >> "Banner Set" set to Custom

Remove All Banner Images

To show no banner images use the on/off setting on the admin menu.
