Hi DB, thank you for this information. I was looking at the paid version of Heatmap versus Socrates which also looks pretty good. I didn’t know there was a free version. I am probably going to start with it. Thanks for sharing from the heart!

It's been a while since I looked at the Arclite code, but reasonably confident I made no changes to the css files beyond renaming the themes name so it didn't clash with Arclite original.

You should be able to install Arclite with AdSense separately for testing. As long as the Arclite developer hasn't made any major changes to the widget setup of Arclite, Arclite with AdSense should work with your current setup minus your CSS changes.

So you should be able to activate Arclite with AdSense and if you don't like it reactivate Arclite original with no negative impact on your setup.

If it works you should be able to copy the CSS files from Arclite original into the Arclite with AdSense theme folder: you should first edit the main style.css file and change the name of the theme to:

Theme Name: Arclite AdSense 01

to prevent clashes with Arclite original.

Note I used Arclite 1.5.4 to create Arclite with AdSense, Arclite is currently at version 2.0.3. You should check there are no important features added between those two versions.

Hey David

I have a blog already set up with the standard version of this theme (toholdyourown.com). Is there a way to upload your edited template, without undoing my whole blog formatting? I've edited the CSS a bit to get it to where it is now, and would like to maintain it but still get the ad space opportunity.

Thanks for your guidance!

I don't offer WordPress installation etc... as a service I'm afraid.

You can find the WordPress plugins I use on a regular basis at WordPress SEO Plugins.

I guess you are using the Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin, if you are using the Talian 05 theme and soon the Stallion Theme you can use the Multisitemap Page template linked from Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin and Talian WordPress SEO Theme Support to link to your sub-domains and folders. In Stallion the Page template is included with the theme zip file (so no extra setup to use it), plan to release Stallion within the week and Talian customers get a free update).

Hi,
I am trying to setup a blog with your theme and would like to have aout blogging.

I would liek to ask you if you would be so kind to setup a site with mulitple subdomains for me with the plugins that you usually use.

I will obviosly pay you for the plugins and templates and setup costs.

I would also like to know how you link all the generated sub-domain/sub-folder sites back to the main site and vice versa so that they can be seen by search engines for indexing purposes.

Do you use any plugins? or is this a manual process?

Hope to receive your email.

I am interested in starting a blog but am just looking into hosts and templates etc. I am hoping for a free template since I realize it will take quite some time to earn any income off this blogsite. Do u have a template that allows search within the site and a couple different types of ad displays-in addition to adsense? I like the large band for picture on top with 3 columns and a thin band for navigation of site below picture band. I do like the overall look of davinci template, does that offer everything I would need? Is it SEO and RSS included as well? If you have any advise for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Free www.wordpress.com blogs, like yours don't have the ability to use any AdSense theme like this one.

Not only can you not upload a theme like this to a myblog.wordpress.org blog, you aren't allowed to use ad programs like AdSense on those blogs anyway.

To use a WordPress theme like Arclite with AdSense you have to use the self hosted version of WordPress downloaded from www.wordpress.org (for free) and install it on a domain (you've paid for) using an FTP program.

I followed your directions but when it got to the part about uploading the template to my wordpress blog, you lost me. I can find no button or menu item that will allow me to upload anything to my themes. Please help. Thanks.
