I looked at your site and you do have a LOT of ads, looks around 15 ads on the home page.

Although I added Clickbank contextual ads to Talian I haven’t been impressed with Clickbank as a contextual ad network, to profit from Clickbank you have to review the products (presell). So I wouldn’t use the contextual Clickbank ads over AdSense if you are trying to decrease the number of ads.

Also found the AdSense search ads aren’t very good either, so concentrate on the content ad units only, you can have three of them.

Those two changes would remove about 9 ads without removing the main AdSense content ad.

Looks like you are running autoblogs, they are prone to not making much money per site, if you want to make money from autoblogs most autobloggers make a lot of autoblogs to make a reasonable amount of money overall. It’s why I don’t do autoblogging (other than testing), too much hassle keeping track of so many sites.

The best combination for making money with autoblogs is the Stallion WordPress SEO Theme and WPRobot Autoblog Plugin. You can read a review of the latter at WP Robot Review.

My Make Money Online Blog uses the Stallion WordPress SEO Theme and the AdSense ad layout is all built into Stallion (I use Stallion on most of my sites now), all you do is add your Google AdSense publisher number and it works as you see on the make money online blog.

I’ve already built link cloaking into Stallion 6, just not got around to explaining it yet

If you run the Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin and use the Stallion plugin addon (all built into Stallion) to Massive Passive Profits your Amazon affiliate links etc… are cloaked automatically now (including old installs on the autoblog plugin).

The Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin link above is a cloaked link using the Stallion link cloaking code (view source of this page you’ll see it’s not even a proper link) and a simple PHP redirection script: the PHP redirection script isn’t needed to use the Stallion link cloaking, just makes it easier to change links network wide, if the MPP plugin program goes offline for example can change the link to this sites home page or something. You can use the link cloaking on pretty much any link, in the next Stallion update working on code to automatically convert nofollow affiliate links to cloaked links to save a load of link benefit (nofollow deletes link benefit: SEO damaging) and to do what I’ve done with the Massive Passive Profits plugin to the WP Robot 3 Autoblog Plugin which also wastes a load of link benefit on nofollow affiliate links.

The cloaking only works within Stallion. I’ve converted most of my affiliate sites to Stallion now so waste little link benefit on affiliate links. When I’ve converted all my sites will waste no link benefit.

You obviously have a multitude of affiliate products you promote so two quick questions:

1. How do you keep a record of all the products and links, a simple excel spreadsheet?

2. Do you use any link cloaking software such as Google short URL or bit.ly or do you recommend an alternative?

I think I read on one of your threads somewhere that you are considering a link cloaker within Stallion. Is this on the cards and if so will it mean that you would only be able to use the cloaked links from within Stallion?
